Bob Criscola - League Co-Commissioner

I’ve been playing in the Massachusetts Biotechnology Softball League for 11 years and have served as the divisional coordinator for the MetroWest and MetroWorcester divisions since 2001.

Like many of the 1000+ individuals that play in the league, I look forward to the softball season all year long! I have played in many games and seen many great plays and have to say that the most incredible thing I have ever seen is Matty Webster batting with a 3 foot afro on his head (he almost got a hit).

Going forward our goals for the league are to continue to offer a great league for all to enjoy while trying to emphasize sportsmanship, fair play and a sense of community. Our aim is to have numerous events over the next several years to raise funds for very worthwhile charities (starting with the Mass Biotech Fenway Fantasy Day - which has been a dream of mine for years) and to try and make everyone’s summer just a little bit better.
